The Redkyte XDREI X frame kit is a purpose-built frame for constructing a sub-250g FPV quadcopter. The XDREI design combines the positive features of cinewhoops and regular freestyle FPV quadcopters. It weighs in at 155 grams dry , meaning a finished build can comfortably sit below the 250g regulatory threshold. It was created by Pascal Zander of Red Kyte Media, who found that regular cinema drones were too noisy for action sports events, and designed the XDREI to provide the speed and agility needed for filming while minimising noise and risk. The frame features a carbon bottom plate and is well suited to pilots who want a lightweight, agile quad for filming or freestyle flying. If you own additional top plate assemblies, you can swap a camera onto the frame within a minute.
