This is an expansion pack for the Ravensburger edition of the classic Puerto Rico strategy board game. Expansion 1, The New Buildings, adds forests to the game and introduces a range of new buildings including an Aqueduct, Black Market, Lighthouse, Library, and Statue, among others. These buildings can be mixed and matched with the existing buildings in the Puerto Rico base game. Expansion 2, The Nobles, introduces noble tokens that function similarly to colonists, but seven new buildings provide different properties depending on whether they are occupied by nobles or colonists. Suited to fans of the base game who want more variety and strategic depth, the expansion supports 2 to 5 players and is rated for ages 10 and up, with a playing time of around 90 minutes. The base game is required to play and is not included. A great purchase for experienced players looking to freshen up their sessions with new buildings, mechanics, and tactical choices.
