About this deal
Venom: Lethal Protector is a six-issue Marvel Comics limited series featuring Eddie Brock as Venom, originally published from February to July 1993. It was written by David Michelinie and illustrated by Mark Bagley, with Sam De La Rosa serving as inker throughout, and the series marked the first time Eddie Brock headlined his own title, charting his progression from villain to antihero. De La Rosa's work on Venom: Lethal Protector issues 1 to 6 provided the artistic foundation for the worldwide Venom film franchise. This listing is a tribute art print in a striking violet colourway, numbered 16 out of a very limited run of only 25 copies, making it an exceptionally scarce collector's item. Sam De La Rosa is best known for his work on Venom and Spider-Man , giving this piece genuine provenance for fans of the original comics. Graded NM+ and described as brand new, it is ideal for serious Marvel collectors or fans of the iconic 1993 series.
