Premier Manager was released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1995 and was billed as the first ever football management game for the console. Developed and published by Gremlin Interactive, it is a sports construction and management simulation supporting up to two players. The objective is to manage a football club successfully within the top divisions of the English league system, striving for glory by winning the League Cup, the FA Cup, or the Premier League Championship. You start in Division Three and work your way up, with team data drawn from the 1995/96 season. Along the way you can buy and sell players, improve your stadium, and practice tactics. The cartridge features 32 Mbit of battery back-up so your progress is saved between sessions. A great pick-up for retro football fans, and this copy is complete in box and in very good condition.
