These are 1999 Topps Pokemon TV Animation Edition cards, the first of several spinoff sets focusing on the animated TV show. The full set contains 90 cards in total: 76 Pokemon cards, 13 character cards, and a checklist card. The TV1-TV13 cards are the 13 character cards in that subset, featuring Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, Staryu, Geodude, Professor Oak, Gary Oak, Jesse, James, Meowth, Ekans/Arbok, and Koffing/Weezing. The 13 character cards feature screen grabs from the show, with the first four carrying a Pokedex-style entry on the back and the remaining nine featuring pieces of a puzzle on the reverse. Each card also had two foil versions available -- silver and rainbow -- in the main US distributions. These ungraded cards are sold individually in near mint condition, making them ideal for collectors looking to fill gaps in their set or pick up favourite characters without buying a full lot.
