Pokemon Sapphire Version is a role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance, and one of the first entries in the third generation of the Pokemon series. Players explore the Hoenn region using the PokeNav device, battle Team Aqua, and trade with owners of Pokemon Ruby Version to catch all 200 creatures. New features including double battles, Pokemon abilities, and Pokemon Contests were added, and the Game Boy Advance hardware allowed up to four players to connect simultaneously. The legendary Pokemon Kyogre plays a central role in the story. The game also features the Trick House with puzzles and rewards, as well as a Secret Base system that lets players personalise and decorate their own hideout.
