About this deal
Jelly Boy is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive platform game, developed by Probe Software with the aim of being published by Ocean Software in February 1995. The game was almost complete when it was axed for unknown reasons. Review copies were sent to the gaming press, and a fully playable prototype has since been preserved and released. The game puts the player in control of a Jelly Baby with morphing powers, on a quest to find various items inside a factory. The hero can take on different shapes, which helps him overcome obstacles and fight enemies. Transformations include a ball, balloon, boat, cannon, flame thrower, hammer, skis, skateboard, and submarine, among others. This is a genuinely rare and sought-after piece of Mega Drive history, ideal for collectors of prototype and unreleased games from the 16-bit era.
