About this deal
Star Trek Generations: Beyond the Nexus is a Star Trek video game released for the Nintendo Game Boy in 1994. It was developed and published by Absolute Entertainment to tie in with the seventh Star Trek feature film. The game loosely follows the plot of the Star Trek Generations movie, with notable departures including an additional battle against Tholian forces and a Romulan ambush involving both space and ground combat at Amargosa Station. Gameplay has players taking control of Captain Kirk or Captain Picard across three mission types: Ship, Away Team, and Puzzle. Spaceflight is handled in a pseudo-3D environment from a first-person point of view, while on-foot levels are played from a top-down perspective involving phaser combat or labyrinth-like pathfinding. The game also supported the Super Game Boy adapter. A solid pick for any fan of the franchise or collectors of original Game Boy software.
