About this deal
The Nintendo Game Boy Color is an 8-bit handheld game console developed by Nintendo , released in Japan in October 1998 and in international markets the following month. Compared with the original Game Boy, it features a colour TFT screen instead of monochrome, a CPU running at up to twice the speed, and four times as much memory. Teal was one of the five original launch colours, with each letter of the word "COLOR" in the logo representing one of those colours. The console is backward compatible with games developed for its predecessor, giving it a library of over 600 games right out of the box. It runs on two AA batteries and includes an infrared wireless link-up port. The colour screen is not backlit, so a light source is required for play. Please note this listing is sold for parts or not working, so buyers should expect the unit to be faulty or incomplete.
