About this deal

This is a bundle of two highly regarded Game Boy Advance titles from Nintendo. Metroid Fusion is a 2002 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. Players control bounty hunter Samus Aran, who investigates a space station infected with shapeshifting parasites known as X. It is a side-scrolling game with platform, shooting, and puzzle elements, and introduces mission-based progression that guides the player through certain areas. Metroid: Zero Mission is a 2004 action-adventure game, also for the Game Boy Advance, and is a remake of the original Metroid (1986) with updated visuals and gameplay. Along the way, the player collects power-ups that enhance Samus's armour and weaponry and grant special abilities, which allow access to previously inaccessible areas so that the game can be played linearly or non-linearly. Both cartridges are NTSC-J releases intended for the Japanese market, so buyers should be aware they are region-specific versions of the games. Completing Zero Mission unlocks an emulated version of the original Metroid, and players can also unlock the Metroid Fusion picture gallery by linking the two cartridges via the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable. This set is ideal for collectors and Metroid fans seeking original Japanese hardware releases of two of the finest action-adventure titles in the GBA library.
