This is a used original-model Nintendo DS with a third-party Loopy capture board professionally fitted inside. The Loopy capture card is compatible only with the original model DS, not the DS Lite or DSi. Video from both screens and audio are output over USB, and the accompanying software can record AVI files, take PNG snapshots, or simply be used as a live display. It is ideal for content creators, streamers, or retro gaming enthusiasts who want to record or display their DS gameplay natively without an external camera. The DS takes its name from "Dual Screen", reflecting its most distinctive feature: two LCD screens working in tandem, with the lower screen functioning as a touchscreen.
