About this deal
Metroid Fusion is a 2002 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance, and the fourth main entry in the Metroid franchise. Bounty hunter Samus Aran is attacked by a deadly parasite while on a mission, and cured using Metroid DNA, she is bestowed with unique new powers but must face a new enemy: the X parasite. Like earlier Metroid titles it is a side-scrolling game with platform jumping, shooting, and puzzle elements, and it introduces mission-based progression that guides the player through specific areas. The game received awards including Handheld Game of the Year from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, Best Game Boy Advance Adventure Game from IGN, and Best Action Game on Game Boy Advance from GameSpot. Gameplay is more linear than other entries in the series, with a cybernetic entity called Adam providing Samus with specific objectives throughout. This is a CIB (complete in box) copy, making it a desirable find for GBA collectors, as boxed examples are increasingly hard to come by.
