This used NETGEAR M4300-8X8F (model XSM4316S) is a 16-port stackable fully managed Layer 3 switch combining 8 x 10GBASE-T copper RJ-45 ports and 8 x SFP+ fibre ports. It comes in a half-width rack form factor, and all 16 ports are independent and 1G backward compatible for a progressive transition to 10G speeds. The M4300-8X8F delivers a 320Gbps switching fabric, making it well suited to SMB core applications as well as spine and leaf stacking architectures. Part of NETGEAR's ProSAFE M4300 Intelligent Edge Series, it is designed for mid-enterprise edge and small and medium-sized business core deployments. The licence-free Layer 3 feature set includes static routing, policy-based routing, RIP, VRRP, and OSPF, as well as multicast PIM routing. Up to eight switches can be hot-swappably stacked into a single logical unit, and the switch is ideal for server aggregation, wireless access, unified communications, and Video-over-IP workloads.
