The Moxen are among the most iconic cards in Magic: The Gathering, with the original five -- Mox Emerald, Mox Jet, Mox Sapphire, Mox Ruby, and Mox Pearl -- each being zero-cost artifacts that tap for a specific colour of mana. They account for five of the Power Nine from the earliest editions of the game and are widely considered some of the most powerful cards ever printed, as the ability to play multiples in a single turn gives an extreme mana advantage -- leading to them being restricted in Vintage and banned in every other official format.
