This is a replacement left-hand Touch controller for the Meta Quest 2 standalone VR headset. It is a single left-hand controller, ideal as a replacement or additional accessory for anyone who has lost, damaged, or worn out their original. It is specifically designed for the Oculus Quest 2nd generation and is not compatible with the original Quest. The controller features separate grip and trigger buttons, a joystick, and face buttons (X and Y on the left unit). It also carries the menu button, represented by three horizontal lines, which opens the in-game menu for the current application. Linear actuators beneath the buttons and triggers provide haptic feedback, giving tactile confirmation when a button is pressed or a virtual object is touched. The large halo-style ring at the top houses infrared LEDs, which are tracked by the four cameras on the Quest 2 headset to determine the exact position and orientation of the controller. Note that the controller runs on a standard AA battery rather than a built-in rechargeable cell.
