This lot spans multiple eras of Marvel's long-running X-Factor franchise. X-Factor is a spin-off from the X-Men franchise published by Marvel Comics, with the original series debuting in 1986. That first volume launched featuring the five original X-Men, who reorganised as a group in response to the outlaw status of the then-current X-Men team. In 1991 the founding members rejoined the main X-Men series and X-Factor relaunched as a US government-sponsored team, running until 1998. The lot also includes issues from All-New X-Factor, a later run. All-New X-Factor was an ongoing series that debuted in January 2014 as part of the All-New Marvel NOW! event and a relaunch of X-Factor. It depicts the corporation Serval Industries forming a new corporate-sponsored version of the team, which includes Polaris, Quicksilver, Gambit, Danger, Cypher, and Warlock. It was written by Peter David and drawn by Carmine Di Giandomenico, and was cancelled after 20 issues.
