About this deal

A solid collection for Marvel fans and comic collectors alike. The 52 issues span the 1980s through to the modern era, with Captain America titles covering one of the character's most celebrated periods. Writer Mark Gruenwald took the reins of Captain America in 1985, beginning an incredible 10-year tenure on the title , during which Steve Rogers resigned the Captain America identity in issue #332, with John Walker selected to wield the shield in issue #333. Also included are issues of Marvel Saga, a comic book series which attempted to condense the first 25 years of Marvel Universe events into a sequential, narrative story, published over 25 issues from December 1985 to December 1987, with illustration mostly made up from excerpts from the original comics in which the events being described took place. The series was meant to be a cohesive and quick way for newcomers to catch up on the entirety of the Marvel Universe at once. All books are listed in Very Good condition.
