Released in 2008, the LEGO Star Wars Imperial Dropship (7667) is a Star Wars Battle Pack aimed at fans and collectors looking to expand their Imperial forces. The set contains 81 pieces and is finished in black, grey and blue, with an opening cockpit for the Shadow Trooper and a detachable platform to deploy the Stormtroopers. The engines are located above the troop platform and can be tilted up or down, while two blasters are on either side of the ship and a pair of extra weapons for the Stormtroopers sit just above the platform. The set includes three Stormtroopers and a Shadow Stormtrooper pilot , making it a handy way to bulk out an Imperial minifigure collection. The Dropship does not appear in any of the Star Wars films , placing it firmly in the Legends/Expanded Universe corner of the lore. Now a retired set, it is only available on the secondary market, so condition and completeness can vary between listings.
