LEGO Star Wars The Darksaber (40917) is a 278-piece buildable hilt set aimed at adult fans, recreating the weapon that originally debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and made the transition to live action in The Mandalorian. The 278 pieces are devoted entirely to the hilt, with no blade included, and the build uses a combination of black and dark grey elements to replicate the sabre, along with its slit-shaped blade emitter. The black blade is suggested at the tip of the emitter by a transparent purple 1x4 tile. This gift-with-purchase set comes with a stand and nameplate to complete a striking piece of display decor for the home or office. It is the fourth buildable LEGO Star Wars lightsaber hilt, following GWP lightsaber hilts released in 2020, 2021, and 2024.
