LEGO Star Wars 9499 Gungan Sub is a 465-piece set based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, first released in 2012. It recreates the scene in which Jar Jar Binks guides Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn through the watery core of planet Naboo. The set includes minifigures of Qui-Gon Jinn, Jar Jar Binks, Queen Amidala, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. All minifigures except Jar Jar Binks are exclusive to this set. The sub is built to resemble some of the many creatures that inhabit the underwater world, and features a large cockpit, cargo bays, storage boxes, rotating tail propulsion, missiles, and a mini-sub with harpoon. It also includes 2 cargo holds, 2 cargo containers, 4 flick missiles, and 2 lightsabers, and the Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure heads can be rotated to reveal underwater breathing devices.
