LEGO Creator Expert set 10244, the Fairground Mixer, was released in 2014 and contains 1,746 pieces aimed at builders aged 16 and over. It features a working Mixer ride with crank operation, two transport trucks, a high striker, a dunk tank, and glow-in-the-dark elements. The entire fairground can be packed up and transported on the two included trucks, making it quite different from more static LEGO builds. The set includes 12 minifigures: a juggling man on stilts, dunk tank lady, strong man challenger, ticket lady, truck driver/ride operator, 2 women, 2 girls, 2 boys, and a queasy man. The Mixer ride can also be upgraded with LEGO Power Functions motors, sold separately. This is a retired set that commands a strong second-hand price, making a used example with original instructions a great find for collectors and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
