About this deal
The Keygeek Purple Dawn is a linear switch designed by Unikeys and manufactured by Keygeek. The updated housing and stem molds ensure reduced stem wobble, a solid and clean bottom-out sound and feel, and a subtle top-out sound. The switch uses a PA66 top housing, a PBT+30% fiberglass bottom housing, and an L4 POM blend stem, with a 50g operating force, 58g bottom-out force, 2.0mm pre-travel, and 3.6mm total travel. It comes factory lubed straight out of the box. This item has been opened but never used. These switches suit users who prefer smooth keypresses with a clean sound profile, and will appeal to both typists and gamers looking for consistent travel without tactile bumps. The main characteristics are a loud, lower-pitched sound and a satisfying bottom-out feel. While quieter than older Keygeek switches, they still produce a noticeable clack, so they may not be ideal for noise-sensitive environments. They are compatible with standard MX-style mechanical keyboards.
