This is a used, pre-owned metal miniature from Games Workshop's Citadel range. Jan the Slar is a named figure from the C46 Militia range , released in September 1987 alongside the similar F4 Mercenaries range. As with other figures in this series, the name and the GW 1987 date are cast directly into the slotta tab. The figure is now long out of production and highly sought after by collectors. The C46 range is among the more numerous of the Citadel slotta-based ranges but is notoriously difficult to pin down, as many figures were never illustrated in any catalogue and several were released in different deals under different names at different times, making the more obscure pieces highly desirable to collectors. The Militia were conceived as a ragtag group of not very well-trained warriors. This listing is ideal for Oldhammer enthusiasts, tabletop Warhammer Fantasy Battle players, or anyone building a vintage Empire or human warband with period-correct figures.
