About this deal

Imagine was a 3D modelling and ray tracing program created by Impulse, Inc., originally for the Amiga computer. Released in 1990 as a radical departure from its predecessor TurboSilver, it went on to become one of the most capable 3D packages available on the platform. This used set includes the version 5.0 floppy disks and manual, making it a rare find for Amiga collectors and retro computing enthusiasts. Version 5.0 introduced ARexx and CyberGraphX support, allowing Imagine to run in 256 colours as well as render to a CyberGraphX-compatible display in full 24-bit colour. The software also featured character animation with Bones, States, and Inverse Kinematics, alongside a particle system and true 3D morphing. Stereo rendering, depth of field, soft shadows, and dozens of algorithmic, mathematically calculated textures round out a very comprehensive feature set.
