It is crafted from Japanese stainless steel and measures just 65 x 22 x 13.2 mm, roughly the size of a USB flash drive. A USB-C input connects to your smartphone, tablet, or laptop , and headphone outputs include a 3.5mm S-Balanced and a 4.4mm Balanced connection. It supports high-resolution audio formats including PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, Native DSD256, 2x DXD, and full MQA decoding. The GO bar Kensei is the world's first ultraportable DAC to feature K2HD Technology, which restores rich, natural harmonics to digital recordings by reviving overtones beyond 22kHz, delivering audio quality closer to the original master. Two power tuning modes -- iEMatch for sensitive IEMs and Turbo mode for power-hungry headphones -- allow it to drive a wide range of earphones and headphones. Four bespoke digital filters and two analogue processing modes let you tailor the sound to suit different music genres.
