Razor is a comic book character created by Everette Hartsoe, first introduced in Razor #1 in October 1992 by London Night Studios. The protagonist, Nicole Mitchell, vows to clean up the scum of Chinatown as the superheroine Razor, named for the blades she wears on her arms. With its violent content and pin-up friendly artistic style, Razor is considered part of the "bad girl" genre that rose in popularity during the early-to-mid 1990s. Notably, Razor Annual #1, published in 1993, contained the first appearance of Shi. London Night Studios produced a wide range of titles alongside Razor, including Nightshades, Poizon, Morbid Angel, and more. Nightshades is a mature-readers erotic shock horror comic, published in black and white.
