About this deal
Jigoku Sensei Nube is a Japanese horror manga series written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. It was serialised in Shueisha's shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from August 1993 to May 1999, with its chapters collected in 31 tankobon volumes. The series follows Meisuke Nueno, known as Nube, the homeroom teacher for Class 5-3 at Domori Elementary -- a skilled exorcist who protects the town from supernatural threats using a powerful demon sealed in his left hand, a technique called the Demon's Hand. The tankobon volumes were released from January 1994 to September 1999, making this first-print 1994 edition of Volume 2 an early release from the very start of the collected run. Blending horror, action, school comedy and a touch of romance, the series is popular across all age groups and remains a classic that helped define the 1990s era of Shonen Jump. By December 2025, the overall manga franchise had over 31 million copies in circulation. This is an all-Japanese language edition and is aimed at collectors and fans of vintage Jump manga.
