Heat: Pedal to the Metal is a hand management racing board game published by Days of Wonder in which players jockey for position to cross the finish line first while managing their car's speed to avoid overheating. It combines hand management, deck-building, and push-your-luck mechanics , making it accessible yet strategic. Suitable for ages 10 and up, it supports 1 to 4 players with a playtime of around 60 minutes. Players can experience the thrill of a single race or use the Championship System to play a whole season in one game night, customising their car before each race. The Legends Module adds automated drivers for solo play or as extra opponents in multiplayer games. The box includes two giant double-sided boards offering four tracks, six race cars and matching gear pawns, six player mats, speed, heat and stress cards, upgrade and sponsorship cards, event cards, weather tokens, and road condition tokens.
