Gretchin (also known as Grots) are the small, goblin-like greenskins of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, introduced as the Ork faction's diminutive subordinates when the Orcs were ported over from Warhammer Fantasy. These plastic Gretchin are most notable for their inclusion in the Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition Starter Box, released in 1993, making them a fondly remembered piece of Oldhammer history. The 2nd Edition plastic Gretchin are single-pose models, all carrying autoguns, and are now long out of print.
