About this deal
These are original plastic Gretchin miniatures from the Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition range, announced in October 1993. Also known as Grots, these diminutive greenskins are key to the Orks as a faction and serve as cannon fodder and objective holders. The Gretchin and Orks included in the 2nd Edition box were sculpted by the legendary Kev Adams. 40 plastic Gretchin were included in the 2nd Edition starter box, though all shared the same pose. These figures are long out of print and now sought after by Oldhammer collectors and hobbyists looking to complete or restore their original 1993 starter set armies. The models were multi-part miniatures, quite close to push-fit, with a single miniature per sprue consisting of multiple parts. Being still on the sprue makes this a particularly desirable find for collectors who want unassembled, original examples of this classic era of Games Workshop miniatures.
