Red and Blue are role-playing games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy, with an enhanced version, Pokemon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition, following in 1999 and 2000. The main difference between Red and Blue is the exclusive Pokemon you can catch in each, while Yellow has different story elements, most famously letting Pikachu be your starter and follow you around in the game, much like in the TV show.
