Gen 13 is a superhero comic book series originally written by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi and illustrated by J. Scott Campbell. It was published by WildStorm under the Image Comics banner. The comic features a loosely organised team of super-powered beings composed of five teenagers and their mentor. During the height of its popularity, Gen 13 spawned two spin-off books, DV8 and Gen 13 Bootleg, as well as a number of specials and mini-series. This lot contains first print copies of issues #16 and #29 from the ongoing series, published in 1997 and 1998 respectively, both graded Near Mint minus. First prints from this era of the run are increasingly sought after by WildStorm and Image Comics collectors, particularly as later issues become harder to find in high grade. An ideal addition to any 1990s superhero collection.
