About this deal

This is a used Nintendo Game Boy Advance (model AGB-001) in the Clear Glacier colourway, which was one of the original translucent shell options released for the console in 2001. The Glacier colour scheme was known as Milky Blue in Japan, and the AGB-001 was first released in 2001 as the first Game Boy system to use a horizontal orientation. Despite lacking a backlight, the AGB-001 remains one of the most beloved handhelds of all time, supported by an extensive library of iconic GBA titles and full backward compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. The console runs on two AA batteries with up to 15 hours of use, and features a 2.9-inch display. The GBA has a non-backlit TFT colour display that can be difficult to see outside of direct light, which is why lighting modifications have become commonplace. This unit comes with a new lens fitted, making it a practical choice for retro gaming fans and collectors looking for a presentable, ready-to-play example. It has been tested and confirmed working.
