About this deal
The Commodore Amiga 600 is a home computer introduced in March 1992, built around the Motorola 68000 processor and Commodore's Enhanced Chip Set (ECS). It is a redesign of the Amiga 500 Plus, adding the option of an internal hard disk drive and a PCMCIA port. Lacking a numeric keypad, the A600 is notably compact, and it shipped with AmigaOS 2.0. The presence of the PCMCIA port, which allows the addition of a Compact Flash card via an adapter, makes it one of the most popular Amiga models for retrogaming. The A600 was the first Amiga model since the original Amiga 1000 with built-in colour composite video output, allowing it to be used with a standard CRT television without any adapter. The rear panel also features an RGB port for connecting to a monitor or TV via a SCART cable, plus serial and parallel ports and a connector for an external floppy drive. This makes it an ideal pick for collectors and retro gaming enthusiasts looking for a capable, ready-to-use classic home computer with a broad library of games and software titles.
