Here is the product description: The Eternals are a race of humanoids published by Marvel Comics, created by Jack Kirby and first appearing in The Eternals #1 in July 1976. This lot covers the complete original run: issues #1-19 (written and pencilled by Jack Kirby, July 1976 to January 1978) plus the 1977 Annual, also written and pencilled by Kirby. In the Marvel Universe, the Eternals are an offshoot of humanity created one million years ago by the alien Celestials to defend Earth, with their primary adversaries being the monstrous Deviants. Given a free hand on returning to Marvel in 1976, Kirby's signature series concerned his science-fiction equivalent of the biblical final judgement of mankind. Issue #1 features the first appearance of Ikaris, Makkari, Kro and the Eternals as a team. This is a highly sought-after Bronze Age run from one of comics' most legendary creators, listed in Very Good condition.
