About this deal
This is a multimedia development board combining the ESP32-P4 with an integrated ESP32-C6, delivering Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity. The ESP32-P4 features a 400MHz dual-core RISC-V processor and supports up to 32MB PSRAM, along with USB 2.0, MIPI-CSI/DSI, and an H.264 encoder -- making it well suited to demanding multimedia, HMI, and edge AI projects. Because the ESP32-P4 has no built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth of its own, pairing it with an onboard ESP32-C6 is the standard approach to adding wireless connectivity, which is why many P4 development boards include one. The board exposes a rich set of human-machine interfaces including MIPI-CSI with an integrated Image Signal Processor, MIPI-DSI, SPI, I2S, I2C, LED PWM, MCPWM, RMT, ADC, UART, and TWAI, plus USB OTG 2.0 HS. These features make boards of this type suitable for HMI terminals, smart panels, multimedia control interfaces, local edge AI, and IoT gateways. Arduino IDE support for the P4 is still limited, so developers will generally need to use Espressif's ESP-IDF framework for serious work.
