The ENS160+AHT21 is a compact sensor module that combines the ENS160 multi-gas sensor with the AHT21 temperature and humidity sensor, measuring air quality parameters including equivalent CO2 (eCO2), Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC), temperature, and humidity. Four metal-oxide (MOX) sensor elements enable broad gas detection, with outputs including an Air Quality Index (AQI) for intuitive air quality visualisation. The module features an integrated pre-calibrated sensor fusion and automatic baseline correction algorithm, and supports both I2C and SPI interfaces. It offers fast deployment with under one minute warm-up time, and is compatible with popular microcontroller platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The AHT21 element measures temperature from -40 degrees C to +120 degrees C with typical accuracy of plus or minus 0.3 degrees C, and humidity from 0 to 100% RH with typical accuracy of plus or minus 2% RH. Suitable applications include home air purification, weather stations, humidity control, and HVAC systems.
