About this deal
This is the official gamepad that shipped with the Commodore Amiga CD32, released in September 1993 and marketed as the first 32-bit games console. It features 7 buttons in total -- 4 face buttons, 2 shoulder buttons, and a pause button -- making it by far the most button-rich controller Commodore ever produced. The four face buttons are coloured red, blue, yellow and green, and the directional pad is digital with four directions. Original CD32 gamepads in good working condition can be a genuine challenge to find, making this a desirable item for collectors and retro gaming enthusiasts. The controller also works on standard Amiga computers and even Atari-compatible machines, using the red button as a single fire trigger, so it suits anyone with a broader Amiga setup. The CD32 itself was essentially a keyboard-less Amiga 1200, and this pad is the authentic accessory to go with it.
