The Commodore 64C is the cost-reduced, slim-line redesign of the original Commodore 64 "bread-bin", introduced in 1986 with full software and peripheral compatibility. The C64C was the first C64 to feature a redesigned outer case, moulded in a light beige colour and styled to resemble the Commodore 128. There are no major hardware differences between the C64C and the original C64, with the units being largely identical in terms of graphics, sound, processor speed, interfaces and RAM size. The Commodore 64 is an 8-bit home computer introduced in 1982, listed in the Guinness World Records as the best-selling desktop computer model of all time. Taking its name from its 64 kilobytes of RAM, the C64 offered support for multicolour sprites and a custom chip for waveform generation, giving it superior visuals and audio compared to systems without such hardware. It can use a television as a display and supports a keyboard, joystick, cassette tape, floppy disk drives, and a printer. This is a used unit only, sold without accessories, and is ideal for retro computing enthusiasts or collectors.
