This is a rare, out-of-production metal Warhammer 40,000 miniature produced by Citadel for the Imperial Guard range. From 1994, Citadel began releasing troops with different themes within the overall Imperial Guard classification , and the diversity was surely brought to that army with the new miniature range introduced in 1994. The Cadian Lieutenant was listed as part of the Cadian Shock Troops range in the 1995 Codex: Imperial Guard (2nd Edition). The original Cadians were these metal figures , and they are now fully out of production and no longer available from Games Workshop. This listing is ideal for collectors of vintage Citadel miniatures and Warhammer 40,000 hobbyists looking to complete or represent a classic second-edition Imperial Guard army. Each platoon was led by a command squad made up of a Lieutenant and his retinue of Veteran Guardsmen.
