Blood & Thunder is a sci-fi action comic published by Skybound/Image Comics, set in a far future where Earth has integrated alien species into a new society. It follows bounty hunter Akeldama "Blood" Bledsoe and her cantankerous talking gun, Thunder, as the galaxy's most dangerous criminal breaks out of prison and Blood's hunt uncovers secrets about her past, present, and future. Issue #13 is written by Benito Cereno with art by E.J. Su, colours by MSassyk, and lettering by Rus Wooton, and marks the start of an all-new story arc. Cover C is a 1:10 Karen S. Darboe variant, making it a lower-print-run incentive cover sought after by collectors. In this issue, Blood finds herself in an impossible situation after the surprising conclusion of the previous chapter, and must seek out new allies without Thunder by her side.
