About this deal
Batman '66 is a DC Comics series featuring Batman as a continuation of the classic 1966-1968 television series, which starred Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin. The series was written primarily by Jeff Parker, with cover art by Mike Allred, and each issue was pencilled by a different artist. The all-new stories portray the Caped Crusader, the Boy Wonder and their rogues gallery just the way viewers remember them , with a bright, colourful, camp tone faithful to the original show. This lot contains three single issues -- numbers 4, 6 and 7 -- all in used condition and individually bagged and boarded for protection. Issue 7 was published in January 2014 and, per the listing, features a Robin Christmas theme. The series brought back original TV characters such as King Tut, the Bookworm, and Marsha, Queen of Diamonds, making their first comic book appearances. These issues are a great pick for fans of the 1960s TV show or collectors looking for affordable, protected single issues from an early run of the series.
