Players each adopt the persona of one of six Harbingers -- a witch, zombie, vampire, werewolf, poltergeist, or mummy -- and compete across a spooky board. Unlike the earlier VHS versions, the DVD format means encounters with the Gatekeeper are randomised rather than in a fixed order, so you cannot predict when he will turn up next. This is a 49-minute interactive board game controlled by a DVD, making it a race against the Gatekeeper, your opponents, and time itself. The goal is to collect six coloured keys, working against the clock and the delaying tactics of the host, the Gatekeeper.
