About this deal
This is the original Street Fighter (1987) by Capcom, released on the Atari ST under the Klassix budget label. Here is the description: Street Fighter is Capcom's 1987 arcade fighting game and the very first title in the long-running Street Fighter series. The Atari ST version was developed by Tiertex and originally published by U.S. Gold in 1988 in Europe, with this copy being a later Klassix budget re-release. The game introduced special attacks and several conventions that became standard in later fighting games, including six-button controls and command-based special moves. Players travel across five colourful locations, taking on ten tough opponents, with Japan, China, the USA, Thailand and England providing the backdrops. The player must win two rounds in order to defeat an opponent and progress to the next battle. A second player can also interrupt a single-player match and challenge the first player directly. A solid piece of retro gaming history and a worthwhile find for collectors of Atari ST software.
