The Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000 is a premium headphone amplifier and DAC that combines high-performance amplification with digital audio player (DAP) capabilities in a compact, portable-friendly form. It is built around four ESS ES9068AS DAC chips, supporting up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD512 playback, with four levels of gain and up to 15Vrms output to drive even demanding, high-impedance headphones. Balanced 2.5mm and 4.4mm as well as unbalanced 3.5mm and 6.35mm headphone outputs accommodate a wide variety of headphones, while optical, coaxial, and USB Type-C digital inputs and RCA analogue connections allow it to sit at the heart of a wider hi-fi system. An 8,400mAh battery provides up to 10.5 hours of playback without a separate power supply, and a 4.1-inch, 720 x 1280px touchscreen tilts up to 60 degrees for convenient control. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD and LDAC support is included, working both as a wireless receiver and transmitter. This unit comes tested and working, with its original box.
