The Aqara FP300 is a battery-powered 5-in-1 sensor combining PIR motion detection, 60GHz mmWave radar presence sensing, plus built-in light, temperature, and humidity monitoring. Unlike standard PIR sensors, the mmWave radar can detect stationary presence -- someone sitting still at a desk, for instance -- and is unaffected by room temperature. It covers a 120-degree field of view with a maximum detection range of 6 metres. It runs on two CR2450 batteries, with an expected battery life of up to around two years in Thread mode or up to three years in Zigbee mode.
