Alien Nine is a manga series by Hitoshi Tomizawa and this complete set contains all the English-language volumes. The story is set in a near-future where alien invasions are commonplace, and elementary schools form groups of students to capture or eliminate extraterrestrial threats using symbiotic alien organisms. The series is noted for its moe art style contrasting with heavy violence despite the young main characters, Pokemon-like monster designs, and initial appearances of a slice-of-life-esque series. The main manga ran for three volumes, and in 2003 Tomizawa released a one-volume sequel called Alien 9 Emulators. Emulators was serialised in Akita Shoten's Champion Red magazine and collected as a single volume. The English adaptation was licensed by Central Park Media. This is a good-condition used set and a rare find for collectors, offering the complete English manga run of the series in one lot.
