The 4059 IP is used to optimise call management: to reply to and easily direct incoming calls, manage internal calls, and connect internal extensions to recipients outside the system. The keyboard comes with predefined mappings for use with the Alcatel-Lucent 4059EE attendant console software, including dedicated call handling, audio, and switchover keys. The application can also detect a standard keyboard automatically at startup as an alternative.
