Disney's Aladdin is a 1993 side-scrolling platformer developed by Virgin Games for the Sega Mega Drive, based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios film of the same name. It represented Disney's first direct involvement in video game production, with Disney animators working alongside Virgin Games using a digitisation process to incorporate over a thousand hand-drawn animation frames into the game. The soundtrack features five original compositions and five arrangements from the film. Players guide Aladdin through levels based on locations from the film, including the streets and rooftops of Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, and Jafar's palace. The three fire buttons handle throwing apples, jumping, and swinging Aladdin's scimitar, with apples useful for distracting and stunning enemies. The game went on to sell four million copies worldwide and was awarded Best Genesis Game of 1993 by Electronic Gaming Monthly, making it one of the most celebrated titles in the Mega Drive library. This PAL version, complete in box with all original materials, is tested and working in very good condition.
