About this deal
The Adafruit Triple LED Matrix Bonnet (product ID 6358) plugs directly into any Raspberry Pi via its 2x20 GPIO header, letting you control three parallel strings of HUB75 RGB LED matrix panels to build colourful scrolling displays or mini LED walls. Unlike the single-panel Matrix Bonnet, it uses the "active3" pinout to drive three chains simultaneously, meaning it can handle roughly three times as many panels and pixels. It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models featuring a 40-pin GPIO header, including the Zero, Zero W/WH, Model A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi 4, and Pi 5. Onboard level shifters convert the Pi's 3.3V logic to 5V for clean, glitch-free matrix driving, and the board arrives fully assembled with no soldering required. It works with 16x32, 32x32, 32x64, and 64x64 HUB75 RGB LED matrices , and panels can also be chained together for an even larger display. Note that power management is not handled on-board, so a separate 5V 10A+ supply is required for the panels themselves. The RGB matrix panels and power supply are not included.
